Nick & Aaron, recent new owners, welcome you to the Dog & Crook.

 

The Dog & Crook is set in lush countryside surroundings in the small village of Brambridge near Twyford (between the cities of Winchester and Southampton).

 

Built in 1736, this eighteenth century pub retains much of its historic inn atmosphere with original beams and cosy corners.  A spacious seated decking area is situated to the rear of the pub  with hanging vines shading you throughout the long summer afternoons and an ideal backdrop for sharing evenings with a few friends under the warmth of heated lamps.  Grab yourself a drink from our outside bar as and when we hold special events.  Plenty of parking is incorporated to the side of the property.  We welcome families and offer a good selection of meals for children.

 

Why not stop by  and try our lunchtime menu which features traditional home cooked favourites.  Alternatively, dine in the evening in our candlelit restaurant  and choose from our varied a la-carte menu and renowned speciality fish board, which boasts more fresh fish dishes than most Hampshire restaurants.  Our staff would be more than happy to tell you where our fish originate from, their taste, flavour and texture.  

 

The Dog & Crook is listed in the “Where to Eat in Hampshire Guide”  and “On the Menu -  The definitive guide to dining out in Hampshire 2007” and we offer an excellent friendly service to all our visitors.
